CIBIL report clearing possible??

 I had credit card of HSBC three years back and i hv paid all the dues and closed the card as on 30th march 2010.  i also obtained letter from HSBC stating outstanding on the particular card is nil.   but cibil report shows as defaulter??  i have last card statement and original letter from bank for account closure with me.  Please suggest....

1. Write a Letter to HSBC Stating that You have cleared all the Dues and attach the Proof and tell them to Upload the Correct Data to CIBIL.

2. Give HSBC 30 Days to do the same, with a copy of your letters marked to Ombudsman of HSBC

3. After 45 Days Pull your CIBIL Report and See, if not rectified, file a complaint against HSBC with the RBI, Ombudsman and HSBC will do it.

But first approach HSBC & its Ombudsman before going to RBI.
