Can i have 2 cards

Can i have two cards from the same bank. I have a Gold SBI card, i want to apply for the TRCTC SBI card. Can i do that or do i need to close the gold card first then apply for the second?

Sure you can if your Credit History permits the same. Means, you should have great track record and also good income flow month on month and should not have applied for many credit cards in the recent past which could be an indicator of credit hungry behavior.
