HSBC Credit card setilment-----need help

Hi,

I have used HSBC credit card and purchaged for 48000 rs.

since 2007 october i have not paid the amount.

yesterday i got a call from hsbc saying you need to pay 48000 only.we will clear your outstanding.

Can i trust them?

After making the payment if they wont clear my outstanding ?


Please help how to proceed now.

Hi
First you call customer care of HSBC and confirm with them whether they offer that much amount for settlement. Even you send a mail to the customer care and ask about the payment.

Ask for settlement letter and clean credit history. Dont believe on what the collection people tells you. They get commission from the amount that u pay.

ask for  the settlement letter and NDC before you pay
