I was not paying for the citibank CC since 4 yrs as I was having a interest rate issue with the bank, I mailed them about the same and no reply from them, now in the CIBIL report it is in "written off" status, and the principle amt is Rs:65884. When I contacted bank they said to pay Rs.65884 and cibil status will be nill, after negociating they came down to Rs.46k(30% less) and they say my cibil status will be "Settled post Write-Off’ with NIL outstanding". Please let me know
1.whether in near future am I eligible for any kind of loan with this status
2. Or shall I pay full principle amt.
