I had a standard Chartered Credit card issued in 1995 with a credit limit of Rs 60,000. I made my last payment in 1999 after which I went abroad and have not paid. I saw my cibil report and found that current due amount is Rs 12 Lacs. Please suggest how can I settle the same and paying Rs 12 Lacs is beyond my capacity. This is affecting my CIBIL scores and I am planning to apply for a Housing Loan.
