dear cardbhai,

if after settlement the circumstances of the person are not able to make the payments what legal actions the credit card issuing banks can take

They can file a criminal case and get a Non Bailable Warrant issued. It all depends on the amount and the bank. Your credit history will be severely damaged and you will not get any future loans.
