SBI Platinum Credit Card - Annual Fees - Unethical
« on: May 10, 2016, 07:30:52 AM »
Here is a Case of our Consumer Facing Unethical Business Practices from SBI Credit Cards. he shares his plight as below.

In Dec 2014 I have been issued SBI Platinum credit card. At that time, sales person of SBI told that first year annual fees is there and from second year onwards, if i spend 2 lacs per annum then Annual Fees would be waived. Currently second year is going on, SBI has charged annual fees and given me gift voucher of same amount for which am not happy. SBI sales person has given false commitment to sell the credit card. Now SBI bank is denying on this. This is not a fair trade practice. Have contacted Nodal officers for this, they are also not helping.

Have to pay Annual Fees Rs. 3000 to get the Gift voucher of Rs. 3000. so why should i pay annual fees as this is a false commitment from SBI Credit card sales person.

Preference 1. Annual fees waiver based on Amount spend (2 Lac per annum) 2. At least, current year annual fees waiver and from next year onwards will pay the annual fees 3. Closure of Credit Card account without paying current year annual fees.
