Why Lacoste does not want to go for e-Retailing in India ? Lacoste does not intend to get into e-retailing except for perfumes. E-retailing would dilute brand since most e-commerce is currently based on the discount format. By not engaging in e-retailing, they get to know which sites are selling counterfeit Lacoste apparel. E-retailing strategy differs from country to country.
